The House That Hope Build Check Presentation

The House That Hope Built | Check Presentation 2022

We have GREAT news to share! The 2022 “House That Hope Built” located in the Huntersbrook neighborhood in Victoria has officially SOLD. Last week we gathered to celebrate the success of this year’s Hope House at our annual Kick-Off Presentation. Here we had the opportunity to present HopeKids Minnesota with a check for the net proceeds of the sale of the home which totaled $350,000.

As part of a family of Minnesota companies, the Tradition Companies, RT Urban Homes is proud to support HopeKids Minnesota, an organization that provides amazing resources to families of children with life-threatening illnesses. Tradition Companies has been supporting HopeKids for more than a decade through continued fundraising and engagement efforts such as the “Hope K” 5K/10K Run+Walk during the summer.

This year we embarked on our fourth “House That Hope Built”. It would not have been possible without the generous support of our trade and business partners who contributed materials, labor and cash donations to the project. We are incredibly thankful for their continued support. The 2,800+ square foot, 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom home turned out beautiful and sold and closed at the end of 2022.

The net proceeds from the sale will again be used to purchase a 16-person suite at the Xcel Energy Center in downtown St. Paul for another two years. The “HopeSuite” (as it’s known) offers a safe and accepting environment for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families to meet, connect, and enjoy special events. To date more than 7,640 people from HopeKids have benefited by attending events in the suite.
